Activities for October
While we are working towards opening up we will be working on ways to protect event and practice goers as well! Those wishing to attend any practices or in person meetings are required to present either proof of vaccination or a negative covid test administered up to 72 hours prior to the practice/in person event.
We are holding sporadic Fighters practices based on availability of fighters and marshals. Please contact our marshals with any questions about location and requirements for practice.
*Fighter Practices: Sundays at the Marshal’s Discretion- – 1:00pm – 3pm.
*Rapier Practices: Sundays at the Marshal’s Discretion- – 1:00pm – 3pm
For now we are hosting our monthly business and A&S meetings on Zoom, and there are many other virtual opportunities Kingdom wide to take part in! If you would like to participate please join our facebook group, if you do not have access to facebook, please contact our Seneschal, who can direct you as necessary.
New Location as of March 2020!
Starting in March our monday meetings, (currently the first and third of the month for Business and A&S meetings), will be held in a brand new location, Tyner-East Brainerd YFD Center! The Address is 6900 Ty Hi Drive, Chatt, 37421.

The Shire of Vulpine Reach is dedicated to researching pre-17th-century European history through re-creation; our goal is to put into practice the skills of those remarkable times. We also research any cultures that made contact with Europe during this time period through trade, war, or exploration. Where the typical Renaissance Faire encourages you to be a spectator and watch the activities being performed, we invite you to learn through participation and create your own unique experience.
Throughout the world, our members gather at events and meetings to share resources, experience, and enthusiasm. Almost every aspect of these ancient times is studied and enacted in Arts and Sciences competitions and martial tournaments. Whether you fancy becoming a warrior, a scholar, an artisan, seeking new friendships or pursuing activities for the whole family, there is a place for you in the Shire of Vulpine Reach.
The Shire of Vulpine Reach is the southeast Tennessee chapter of the Society for Creative Anachronism located in the Kingdom of Meridies. The metropolitan Chattanooga area including Cleveland, Ooltewah, Hixson, Fort Oglethorpe, Dalton, and the surrounding regions are all part of the Shire of Vulpine Reach.
